Dawn Service - Martin Place

Location: Martin Place, Sydney CBD
Sydney’s official dawn service will once again be held at the Cenotaph in Martin Place. This deeply moving event attracts thousands each year, so it’s best to arrive early. Accessible seating is available—registration can be done online via RSL NSW.
Anzac Day March
Time: 9:00am
Route: From Martin Place to Liverpool Street
Watch veterans, service personnel, and descendants march through the city in tribute to those who’ve served.
Commemoration Service
Time: 12:30pm
Location: Anzac Memorial, Hyde Park
A public commemorative service will take place at the Anzac Memorial.
Coogee Beach Dawn Service
Time: 5:30am
Location: Goldstein Reserve
This beachside service is another popular option in Sydney’s east, drawing around 12,000 attendees.
Canberra, ACT
Dawn Service - Australian War Memorial
Time: 5:30am
Location: Australian War Memorial
A powerful pre-dawn tribute will begin at 4:30am, featuring readings from letters and diaries of servicemen and women. Rear Admiral Matt Buckley, Deputy Chief of Navy, will deliver the commemorative address.
Melbourne, VIC
Dawn Service - Shrine of Remembrance
Time: 5:30am
Location: Shrine of Remembrance
This iconic service welcomes thousands each year. Following the service, the Sanctuary of the Shrine will open to the public from 7am for poppy laying.
Anzac Day March
Time: 8:30am
Route: Swanston Street to the Shrine via St Kilda Road
Melburnians will line the streets to watch the annual march to the Shrine of Remembrance.

Dawn Service - Anzac Square
Time: 4:28am
Location: Shrine of Remembrance, 285 Ann Street
Brisbane’s main Anzac Day service begins before sunrise at Anzac Square.
Anzac Day March Time: 9:45am
Route: Through Brisbane CBD
The city will also host a morning march featuring veterans and community groups. Additional local services will be held across Queensland—check the RSL QLD website for details.
Adelaide, SA
Dawn Service - National War Memorial
Time: 6:00am
Location: North Terrace
Adelaide’s official service will be held at the South Australian National War Memorial.
Commemorative March
Time: 9:30am
Route: North Terrace → King William Road → Sir Edwin Smith Avenue
The march concludes at the Cross of Sacrifice.
Commemorative Service
Time: 11:40am
Location: Cross of Sacrifice
A final service will take place here to close the morning’s commemorations.

Dawn Service - Queen's Domain Cenotaph

Location: Queen’s Domain
